  1. Can I change main domain name at WebHostingBuzz?

    Yes, it can be done free of charge. Just submit a request to our Billing department.

    Main Reseller Domain Name changes can be performed in case private nameservers are NOT used. Otherwise the only option is to create the account from scratch.

  2. Can you host all types of domain name extensions?

    Yes, we can host any valid domain extension as long as you are able to change its DNS (Domain Name Servers) to the values we send you in your web hosting welcome email.

  3. Who owns the free domain?
    WebHostingBuzz own the domain but provide it free for your use at no charge for as long as you use our hosting services. The domain is registered through Namecheap.com, our domain registrar partner. You can have the domain pushed to your own Namecheap.com account for $12 at any time.

  4. How can I transfer my domain to you?

    Before requesting the transfer, kindly check that the following apply to the domain at your current registrar:

    1) The domain is more than 60 days old;

    2) The domain has "Unlocked" status;

    3) The domain is showing customer's current information for the administrative contact in Whois (as that is where the authorization email will be sent to);

    4) The domain is not within 7 days of its expiration date.

    If all the requirements are met, please send us the EPP code from your domain registrar to initiate the transfer.

  5. Do you provide domain registration services?

    Yes, we provide domain registration as a part of hosting services.

  6. What if I want to take my domain away from your company?

    If it is a free domain, you will have to pay $12. Please contact our Billing department for further instructions on how to receive the domain.

  7. How can I register private nameservers with a domain registrar?

    In most cases you need to just login to your domain control panel and set IPs for nameservers. Please refer to our wiki tutorial for more information: http://www.webhostingbuzz.com/wiki/how-add-glue-records/

  8. Can I renew my hosting plan at the same rate as I signed up for?

    Yes. We offer unconditional prize freeze for all our plans. As long as you renew you pay the same price.

  10. How can I reinstate my account if it was cancelled?

    Your account can be restored from the available backup (which are stored on servers for 30 days) for an extra $10 one-time fee. If you have your own backup, it will be restored free of charge.  Please email the Billing department and we will assist you further.

  11. How do I re-bill?

    Please log in to your client area and clear the invoice. We generate invoices 10 days before renewal date for shared hosting plans and 5 days for VPS and dedicated servers. Auto-charge is also available, please contact Billing for more information.

  12. What payment method I can use to pay for your services?

    We accept all major credit/debit cards as well as PayPal, Dwolla, and WebMoney.

  13. I have just purchased an account with you. When will it be activated?

    You will be able to use it immediately after payment. All account login details such as your control panel login information, DNS info et cetera will be sent in a welcome email.

  14. How do I use my free SSL certificate?

    Please email the following details to the Billing department and we will do the rest for you:

    Email Address the Cert will be sent to: admin@host_to_make_cert_for (kindly create this email account in cPanel if the former does not yet exist)

  15. How can I get my free Blesta license?

    Please email the Billing department and we will send you a license key and installation instructions.

  16. How do I enable auto-charge for my services?

    You can link a credit card to your billing profile and it will be automatically charged 3 days before the due date. Alternatively, you can create a PayPal subscription when there is an outstanding invoice in your Client Area and your PayPal account will be billed at the date specified.

  17. What is the difference between WHMCS and Blesta?

    WHMCS and Blesta have similar features designed for client management, automated billing and support. However, WHMCS is considered to be more user-friendly and elaborate. You can find more information on their official web sites, at http://www.blesta.com/ and http://www.whmcs.com/.
